Arrow MultiCS END-DATE Script

Installation:
1. download the script from attachment and place it anywhere you want (I will consider /usr/script/ as default path)
2. This is the tricky one:
- open your multics.cfg and on EACH CLIENT you want to use end-date add this:

HTML Code:
#End-date = dd-mm-yyyy
dd-mm-yyyy being DATE WHEN CLIENT'S USAGE EXPIRES (check Example)
Example:
HTML Code:
F: username password #End-date = 06-02-2014
4. If your multics.cfg is not in /var/etc/ or it's name isn't multics.cfg you need to open the script and edit these two variables:
HTML Code:
MULTICS_CONFIG_DIR="/var/etc"
MULTICS_CONFIG_NAME="multics.cfg"
NOTE: the script is intended to delete the user that are expiring "TOMOROW", so if you add new cronjob that will run the script at 23:59h every day, you have everything covered

so:

5. add a cronjob something like this:

Code:
59 23  * * *  root  /usr/script/enddate.sh
If you want to test the script, do it like this:

- add tomorrow's date to one of your clients, but with the EXACT SYNTAX AS SHOWN ABOVE
- run the script
- check your multics.cfg, you should see # (hash) in front of your client containing tomorrow's date
Example:
#F: user password #End-date = 06-02-2014
